Central Park + Snow = Magic
February 28th, 2010 by catalina
This past Friday, New York City received 20 inches of snow – so much so that even the natives were telling me that they can’t remember the last time the snow plows couldn’t keep up with the speed at which snow was falling. Lucky me, new-to-the-city and from-the-tropics gal.
Nevertheless, I seized the day and went to Central Park for a leisurely stroll to capture the magic and beauty that the snow created.

This was very clever – someone was putting snow on tree trunks. There were smiley faces, goofy faces, and sillhouettes such as the one below, where it looks like someone ran into the tree. Very creative.

I made this image en route to Central Park.
