My Meme’s 90th Birthday!

My Meme is amazing woman.
She’s my grandmother and on the 4th of July, we had the honor of celebrating Meme’s 90th birthday at her Florida home. Mom, Alberto, Rosalinda, Maria, Juan Miguel and myself were there to sing Happy Birthday (in English and Spanish), and help Meme blow out big candles – one a 9 and one 0.

Hardly a day goes by without my remembering this amazing woman. She left indelible marks in the lives and especially in the brains of her many students around the world.
I love her very much.
